Project Description:

A light filled contemporary design maximises the potential of this ‘rear garden’ site, providing spacious open plan rooms in the ‘living block’, and more private bedrooms in the ‘sleeping block’. These blocks are connected by a taller central axis which creates the entrance to the house. The living block is orientated south addressing the garden with large glazed expanses. These serve to separate the solid construction elements, allowing the roof to over sail the walls without touching them.
