“Scope to Grow” Crèche and Montessori is located in Rathoath, Co Meath. The response to the long linear site welcomed an opportunity to provide the crèches circulation space to work internally on an east-west axis. Off the circulation space the classroom and internal play areas provide the briefs required accommodation for 50 children with the crèche’s ancillary accommodation positioned in the main on the highly insulated north elevation. All internal classrooms and play area are connected by colourful glass screens directly into the sun-lit, south facing play-ground. The open, colourful and visually connecting design we feel will provide the child with a happy, enjoyable and uplifting pre-school experience.
